Au groupe d’utilisateur de GNU+Linux Gebull.org à Bressuire on a récemment eu plusieurs demandes d’utilisateurs ayant une machine, sous GNU+Linux, qui arrête du jour au lendemain de fonctionner correctement. Dans ces cas là, il s’agissait de la distribution Ubuntu et c’était le disque dur qui était plein. Les utilisateurs ont été surpris car il n’avaient pas copié eux-même trop de fichier sur leur disque. Puisqu’Ubuntu à tendance à remplir le disque, voyons comment faire de la place.

Et surtout virer Ubuntu pour une distribution sans Snaps...
J'ai des snaps sur une de mes machines pour avoir accès à des versions récentes, et c'est une totale horreur en termes de gestion de l'espace disque.
Alors pour info Mx-linux est une distrib' propre, pas une autre declaison de Ubuntu mais une vrai Debian pure avec juste ce qu'il faut d'outils utiles. Et pas System D.
ça c'est fait de chez fait. je l'ai eu utilisé, comme beaucoup.
mais là, j'ai pas touché un Ubuntu depuis 5-6 ans, et ça n'arrivera plus.
J'ai utilisé Ubuntu au tout début, vers 2005-2006, car debian était difficile à bien configurer. Et j'ai eu que des merdes avec, plein de trucs proprios que j'avais pas demandé, des bugs en pagaille, des freezes intempestifs et une politique plus que discutable, déjà à l'époque.

voilà : le gros argument vers ubuntu pour moi c'était ça : debian-like. j'ai toujours eu un crush pour debian dans les "grosses" (connues, anciennes) distros, mais bon je suis pas assez affûté (j'ai un côté dino mais je suis aussi un noob : d'où mon mot : dinoob - et puis je suis une grosse feignasse).
là maintenant j'ai Mint et en plus MX dans ma musette à idées pur le choix, c'est cool.
Je me sers QUE de debian pour les serveurs. Sans bureau, c'est stable de chez stable, y'a pas mieux.
Et pour info, la version 12 de Debian est BEAUCOUP plus simple et accessible qu'avant, je la propose enfin aux install-party pour Mme Michu (mais je conf bien avant, tout de même). Si t'as un ordi ou une partition en rab, essaie, tu vas voir.
Et pour avoir Debian sans systemd (je sais pas pourquoi ils ne proposent pas une alternative) il y a devuan, qui est top aussi.
