Im reading some neoliberals on a local San Francisco page "SFGate", and in the opinion part a neoliberal (I assume) wrote a long, angry rant against neoliberal democrats and how they have failed everyone by pretending to be "the good guys" when in fact they were just doing market capitalism the whole time.
They claimed to have been a supporter, even of Harris..... but claimed to now finally see what the democrats really are. Im hopeful here. A few liberals becoming angry is good.
I hope, hope, hope some of them move left. I try not to hope too hard for such a thing... but I hope.
If you have good/humanism in your heart and you care about reducing harm in any way... you have to move left.

Vi sarete accorti che che festival/fiere del fumetto spuntano come funghi in tutto il paese, sintomatico di un medium non più solo adatto a disadattati o bambini, ma qualcosa da cui anche il paesello più sperduto può guadagnarci.

Good stuff! But, I think he’s overthinking it. What happened was, Board-level people and Wall Street both yelled the same thing at Tim Cook: “Make grandiose AI announcements or your share price goes down.” In 2025 capitalism, those voices can’t be ignored or resisted. So they made the announcement.
