Putin:

"We agree with the proposals to cease hostilities, but we believe that this cessation must be one that would lead to long-term peace and eliminate the initial causes of this crisis. I think it would be very good for the Ukrainian side to achieve a ceasefire for at least 30 days. And we are for that. But there are nuances.

How will these 30 days be used? For continued forced mobilization in Ukraine? For weapons to be supplied there? For newly mobilized units to be trained?

This clearly means stopping this SMO and Russia's pull back to the border of 1991.
Good idea Putin but don't forget the aftermath - pay for murder, pain and destruction for your little excursion of megalomania

good that he is saying he will abdicate, as is the underlying cause for the war.

#ExplainYourUserName "dmoonfire" is pretty much my name: Dylan Moonfire.

I even have an evergreen post about the origin the name at d.moonfire.us/moonfire/ but the short answer is: I didn't want my Partner to take my name, they didn't want to take my name, so we spent six months coming up with a name fit our lives and personalities, found one, I went to court and got it changed, they married me a month later with a name we both choose.

Been leveraging that name ever since. Moonfire Photography (Partner's business), D. Moonfire for a writing byline, Moonfire Games for my game and development projects. When either of our kids walk into their school, you can hear "Moonfire!" yelled down the halls.

No one can spell it though.

Nothing too surprising. Forcing disarmament in Ukraine is an obvious precondition for a ceasefire that that directly relates to the causus belli of the war itself.

“The Milkmaid” Reimagined

Oakoak brings Johannes Vermeer’s The Milkmaid to life in an urban setting. The artwork is seamlessly integrated with a real milk can, making it appear as though the milk is pouring into it. This clever illusion merges classical art with modern street elements.
