Antisemitism is not an imported problem, and acting as though it is, and that the issue is students on visas and not American society, ignores the real work needed to fight it.

"GDP grows 4.23% under Dems vs. 2.36% under GOP," Grok continued. "Job creation? 1.7% yearly for Dems, 1.0% for Republicans. Also, 9 of the last 10 recessions started under Republican presidents."
"Data speaks louder than party lines," it declared pithily.

Why did web designers add a second, perpendicular scroll bar?

I'm getting more serious about moving finertech.com to Ghost and reviving my newsletter, so I'm checking out their themes. Of course, I've noticed this on plenty of other sites too, but this just hit me now

Why did we need a second scroll bar

@jmovs Alright that’s a fair point. I think I legitimately forgot comment sections still exist 😆
in reply to David Chartier

I wonder if it originated as a way to show progress on a page that has been scroll jacked.

Now, it’s probably just become a stylish accessory that designers include because some users expect it or think it looks nice.

*I also saw the reply about comments sections and forgot those existed, but it’s a good point.

They seem to mostly still be supporting him!? I guess they like the abuse? Biden let them all stay, so they voted him out, instead 70% going for a man who said he'd throw out migrants from day one. F'ing idiots.

I am coming around to the idea that the basic premise “human beings are intelligent” is overbroad and unsupported by facts on the ground.
