I'm still around! Just been really busy, heh. I wish I'd been able to stream this sculpt but wasn't allowed to due to event rules, so check out the final. Really happy with the result -- going to key for print at some point. Character belongs to sp11ca on bsky & VGen. This was mostly #zbrush but the hair and small accessories were done in #blender3d, and I got to try out a new hair plugin I got.

3d sculpt that appears to be sort of a collectible figure of an anime-ish girl who is waving. She's very bright and colorful, mostly pastel, wearing a jacket off one shoulder, a cropped tee beneath, and a miniskirt. One leg has legwarmers, the other is covered in bright tattoos. She has purple-grey hair and lots of hairclips of varying colors. The stand for the figure is three stars sweeping up, which she is standing on.
Same character as previous, close up at a slightly different angle. It's obvious she has one normal eye and one that's star shaped.

Both of my #NewJersey Senators Andy Kim and Cory Booker already announced they’re voting no. In fact, Andy Kim held a tele-town hall last night evening and a large part of it was explaining the goings-on & his reasoning for a “no” vote. Since I am fortunate to have Senators who have a spine, I’ll spend some time this morning calling others who are still searching for theirs. Thank you for compiling this list to make it easy.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Schumer stabbed his own caucus in the back by publishing an op ed in the NYT before the cloture vote. Whatever his reasoning on the matter, betraying his colleagues in this way is unacceptable. He should resign from leadership and possibly the Senate.

I watched "Max Headroom" when it was originally airing back in '87 and this brief exchange immediately stuck with me. And it's something that I've tried to keep top of mind every time I'm watching/reading/hearing the news. I suspect if more people understood this, it would go a LONG way towards increasing media literacy.
