Wow! Thanks for sharing this. It really articulates what's been in my heart as my institution, which used to boast about being the most diverse university in the Southeast, dumped the language of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. At first, we were allowed to talk about students' "sense of belonging" on campus. Now they're telling us even that is too much and all we're allowed to say is "we are a global community". Without explaining what that means.
