Acer’s new gaming laptops seem budget-friendly, but they don’t have US prices or launch dates.

Acer announced four new gaming laptops for its entry-level Nitro line, each configurable with Nvidia RTX 5060 or 5070 Ti GPUs, but none of them have US pricing or availability. Likely due to tariff uncertainty, Acer’s press release says, β€œUS availability and pricing to be announced closer to local availability.”

We don’t know when that will be, but for now Acer announced EU pricing (see image gallery).

The Acer Nitro V 16S AI starts at €1,299 with an RTX 5060 and AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 CPU. It’s expected to arrive in August. Acer’s Nitro 16S AI (yes, it’s different than the Nitro V model) will start at €1,399 with an RTX 5060 and AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 CPU, and is also expected in July.
The Nitro 16 AI will start at €1,399 with an RTX 5060 and AMD Ryzen AI 5 340, shipping in July. The larger, 18-inch Nitro 18 AI will start at €1,499 with an RTX 5060 and AMD Ryzen AI 5 340 CPU. It should ship in August.

How easy would it be for Harvard to move to Canada,? Granted it would not be an easy move, and Canada would have to allow a lot of people in to work / study, but at least people signed up to the courses could carry on and it would be a major blow to the USA Maga administration and have long long term implications.
