This monumental bronze bell, cast in the 1120s during China’s Song dynasty, is a striking example of early archaism in bronze casting. Its detailed design reflects a vision of the empire in three parts: an imperial procession through the capital city of Bianjing (now Kaifeng, Henan Province), a dynamic landscape representing the empire’s vast territory, and a cosmic ocean filled with mythical sea creatures and the eight Daoist immortals.
A nearby projection displays ink rubbings of the bell’s five ornamental bands, offering a closer look at the intricate imagery.

Turns out that glibc environment variables are not thread safe, and using them like they are without crashing is just pure dumb luck 
This is why setting environment variables is now marked unsafe in Rust.
