Spotify is down right now for many users in Europe and the US.
On Wednesday morning at 8:45AM ET, the Spotify Status account on X acknowledged that “We’re aware of some issues right now and are checking them out!” A check around The Verge’s Slack channel and the wider internet reveals many users in the UK and across other European countries are having issues streaming anything on Spotify, with a significant spike on Downdetector in the UK.
In the US, we spotted only a few error messages at first, but now the service has stopped working for us, too. We’ll let you know if there are any other updates.

A few hrs ago, I posted about getting some series posters made to match my original ones for #DoctorWho
I can no longer do this automatically since Disney forced the new Ncuti Gatwa episodes to be classed as an entirely new show.
So I have to take the episodes and literally rewrite the metadata by hand and so forth, so that they show up under the original show.
But it means that there are no posters that exist for them... and for continuity, I wanted them to match the previous 13 seasons.
So I asked on here... and the fedi delivered.
@aukondk (Stephen) had a little play around with the format I wanted and delivered exactly what I was looking for in record time and without me having to go hunting for open source software to try and edit them myself after learning how to use it.
I cannot thank him enough for this... It's made my media consistent.

I have a similar issue with my BluRays. I had a mix of standard and special edition versions of The Collection sets so I got some empty cases and printed new covers. I only have a black and white printer so I've gone for a minimal vector graphics look with the modern logo and typefaces from the era.
Pretty happy with the prototypes so I might do the lot like that.
