It is Wednesday, everybody, and I have a frustrating mystery on my hands.
A few days ago, my phone has started chiming at 7:45 AM. While in "do not disturb" mode. I've been through the settings and I can't figure out why it's doing that. It's also a chime I haven't heard before.
I doubt it's a virus, since my phone doesn't visit strange places.
Android version 12, if anyone might have any ideas or suggestions.
I’m an Apple guy and don't have any experience with Android, but here's a shot in the dark that might be just far enough outside the box to be useful: have you checked your calendar for appointments that might have alerts on them?
@felyashono My calendar is empty. There's nothing that should be alerting me with an unfamiliar chime every morning at 7:45 while my phone is in "do not disturb" mode. And I did check the exceptions to that.
The thing is, it's not accompanied by any notification. The first day by coincidence the weather had updated itself at the same time, but I later determined it was not the weather app.
@felyashono Mystery solved! It wasn't my phone at all! It was my husband's tablet! It wasn't a notification chime, it was an alarm. It's just that he turns it off quickly. But one morning he forgot to disable it before leaving the house for an early-morning errand and it kept going until I found it and turned it off.
