Bigger issue here is people not keeping track of what they do financially. How does it take a year to realize this sort of thing. People routinely toss their ATM slips in the garbage, routinely pay bills without looking at them , never reconcile their bank accounts. They just trust BIG ACCOUNTING to do everything for them because they have been taught to be lazy. They buy everything at Amazon because it is simply more convenient and they don't care about the company's predatory practices.

'there has always been a tendency to write off the progressive vote as random, or outlying & rightwing insurgency as indicative of some fundamental truth'.... we need a news media that takes the Greens seriously (or at least as seriously as they take ReformUK).
