The more POTUS Trump backtracks from his 'tariff shock' the more it looks like an extended strategy of market manipulation for his investor friends who were able to 'buy the dips'.
I'd be interested how many of Ttrump's chums have made quick gains by by either shorting ahead of his tariff announcement(s), or buying in the turmoil after, and now selling as prices recover?
The number will be more than zero & might be quite a high proportion of his social circle, would be my guess.
Trump is either stupid, or very clever, cause total chaos or say there is a major problem of everyone elses making, then fix the issue, so he or the US is then percieved as the major benefactor.
What trump has not done is take in to account that China would fight back and not be bulled, teh UK capitulate as we don't make very much any more and need the exports to protect jobs etc.

We’re due to go & attend a family bash over on the other side of the hills today, we shall see how I feel after breakfast & coffee have worked their magic!
Right now I best go give Sophie a brush - she missed out yesterday so is feeling hard done by!
