It clearly says on his original birth certificate that he was the smallest in his litter, and therefore we know that he is really tiny. While dogs may change over time, it is not possible for him to transition from a small red dog to a big red dog because of Emily's feelings, such as her love for him. He is and will always be a biological runt.

You shouldn’t drive drunk, high, tired, distracted or really upset. Duh. You should get pulled over for driving unsafe. HOWEVER, the police should NOT be allowed to use tests with a high false negative for impairment to send anyone to jail. This will be abused in all the ways the legal system can be.

“THC in one’s saliva doesn’t necessarily indicate someone is impaired because they could have ingested THC hours or even days prior to operating a vehicle, and it still shows up in their system despite the immediate effects of marijuana not being present in their system. “

People who work in cannabis policy (I happen to know a few) in states like NJ and Hawaii have been pushing for functional impairment tests instead of THC testing for the reason you state. I don't know if that's been adopted anywhere though.

It’s always layoff season at Google these days which seems to be a deliberate choice over cutting once and deep. Employees constantly worrying about job safety seems to be a deliberate choice.

Cost cutting is an interesting rationale for a company that makes 11 billion in profits PER MONTH.

in reply to Dare Obasanjo

Shareholders always want higher returns, making moves that lower costs usually results in an uptick in stock value, layoffs are unfortunately one of those moves. It’s ridiculous. There’s no such thing as “enough is enough” anymore, if there ever was.

New York is about to make a huge mistake

in reply to psychothumbs

Clickbait title that is clearly partisan, looks like not worth reading regardless of content.

You can say “I hate the front runner in the democratic primary” without saying “I’m voting republican”
in reply to Moobythegoldensock

I mean it clearly has an opinion about the race but not a partisan one since it's all happening within a Democratic primary.
in reply to psychothumbs

I should be more clear: “Huge mistake” means it’s an opinion piece from a person who has a clear bias, not factual journalism. And the fact that the title gives no indication of what it’s actually about means the only thing I have to go on is the author disagrees with something, but won’t say what until I pay them for an opinion I didn’t ask for.

I would personally rather be given the information and form my own opinion.
