The image features a close-up of a young brown lamb with a soft, fluffy coat, standing in a field. The lamb's ears are floppy, and it has a gentle expression, looking directly at the camera. The background shows a gradient sky transitioning from purple to pink, suggesting either sunrise or sunset. In the distance, other animals, possibly cows, are visible grazing in the field. The text "Your joy and rage can coexist" is overlaid at the top of the image in white, bold letters.

You would have to be out of your mind to study as a foreigner in the US.
It isn't a safe or civilised country.

This year set the 2nd lowest annual maximum (boreal winter) #Arctic sea-ice volume on record in the PIOMAS data set. This follows "ice extent" reaching a new lowest annual maximum in 2025. Not a good winter for sea ice!

gorgeous! How come that it has disk brakes on such an old frame? Is this aluminum?
in reply to Tristan Nitotāœ“

@nitot yep, it's aluminium.

I think this might have been released right around the time disc brakes started making their way from MTBs to road bikes. It might have been one of the very early examples of a hybrid with discs.

I'm only basing the 2012 thing on what Google turned up when I searched it mind. I could be wrong

The image shows an aerial view of a city from an airplane window. The left side of the image features the airplane's wing and engine, with the wing extending into the frame. The cityscape is densely packed with buildings, including skyscrapers, and stretches along the coastline. A large body of water, likely a lake, is visible on the left, with a bridge connecting the city to the opposite shore. The coastline is lined with green spaces, including parks and golf courses. The sky is overcast with gray clouds, and the horizon shows a hint of orange, suggesting either sunrise or sunset. The city appears to be Chicago, with recognizable landmarks such as the Willis Tower.

Tens of thousands of demonstrators in The Hague, most of them dressed in red, have called on the Dutch government to take a tougher stance towards Israel.

In a long protest march, the demonstrators made their way to the Peace Palace and seat of the International Court of Justice, which is dealing with a genocide case against Israel.

Dutch media reported up to 70,000 participants. The organizers spoke of over 100,000 demonstrators.
