#Journal of a slightly exhausted Dutch Pixy (Sunday 18/05/2025).

I woke when the alarm went off. It had been a short night, as we were home late the day before. But I did want to get up around the usual time for Arwen's meds. But... When I woke up, there was a smelly surprise for me... 😔 Even with the bedroom door open, Arwen had not come to wake me up, so I had some cleaning to do. First, we rushed outside and then Arwen got her meds and I started cleaning...

When that was done, I got to the scale and I dressed for the gym. I took my meds and waited a bit. I thought Arwen would be better after the poops, so I gave her a normal meal and then I headed to the gym.

All went well at the gym, but I was rather tired and still a bit worried, so I only rode the seated bike. Then I did get a massage in the chair before heading back home again.

When I got back, Arwen wanted to go out again. So we went, and her tummy was still very upset. I then washed up, switched clothes, and had brekky. We had a normal small nightly walk, and she did rather well.

After the walk, I went upstairs and worked on my blog a bit. I was very tired, so I went back down, hoping to maybe steal a snooze on the couch. But... Nope! No such luck... Arwen's tummy was really bad and we went to the bushes at least one or twice every hour. Arwen let some farts out that even startled her badly. Poor gall... 😔

After we went for a little walk, I decided to get at least some work in the garden done. So we went to the back garden and I started some of the weeding there. I got out quite a bit. But I was sore and tired and all that. So I did a little less than I had hoped for. But still, some of the bigger weeds were out, and it looked a wee bit better...

I washed up and went out again with Arwen. This was going to be a long day, as I didn't dare to snooze on the couch, afraid I may miss Arwen needing to go out... 😔 I watched some telly, and we went out every time Arwen told me she wanted to go.

And even with all these short trips, I didn't get the steps in for today... Ah well...

I did manage to play a wee bit of Minecraft with a very sweet friend. She understood that I needed to rush off at times. So that was very sweet of her... We did have a good time gaming, but it was challenging at times with me needing to rush off every now and then...

N texted me if Arwen wanted walkies. I said she probably want them, but that snacks weren't wise. So we walked a different route, with no swims and no snacks. Arwen was a bit bummed but she accepted it rather quickly so... Maybe she understood that it was for the best...

After the walk, we relaxed a bit. Then another loo break before I tried to settle myself on the couch... That way, hopefully, I would wake up early when Arwen needed me.

I woke up about once every hour. We went out again and again. At one point, I just settled in again, and then I heard Arwen start to hurl... Ow nooooo 😔. So yeah, more tasteful cleaning for me to do. But... Since then, her stomach seemed to settle a bit. I was able to sleep some more. When I woke up again, about half an hour before my (earlier) set alarm, I got up and decided to care for Arwen again.

It was a very broken night with some icky cleaning. But... Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that the worst is behind us now? 🍀
