Donald Trump on Israel's release of Greta Thunberg (via Hareetz): "I think Israel has enough problems without kidnapping Greta Thunberg. She's a young, angry person ... I think she has to go to an anger management class." 😡

Because my assailant was a police officer with extreme, serious anger issues. He had no reason to attack me, I was just standing at the door patiently when he suddenly started SCREAMING at me out of the blue, continuing to yell and yell at me while I stood there doing nothing, and saying nothing, then rushed at me and started smashing my face in with his fist, again while I did nothing except curl into a fetal position to minimize the damage of my beating, because I thought doing anything to defend myself would put me in legal harm (when in actuality it made no difference, I was already in legal harm as soon as he started punching).

I simply cannot comprehend that level of rage and anger in a human being. That behavior is just so completely out of my scope of imagination. Especially with no trigger or reason.
Yet, because the one exhibiting incredible rage and anger was an officer of the law, his victim requires mandatory court-imposed anger management while the assailant will never ever be asked.
Of course I passed the course in flying colors, I could have been teaching it.
All the while wondering how the hell I'm in a mandated Anger Management class for being the victim of a violent assault. It's all about keeping me quiet.
Hell, if I can hold my tongue and offer no reaction while some crazy violent psychopath twice my size is screaming at me and punching me in the face, I don't know what an anger management course is supposed to teach me, lol.
The only anger I feel is residual, knowing that this psycho is out there beating the shit out of innocent people who have done him no harm and offered him no offense, just because he's an incredibly angry person and will never be held to account or checked.
But TL;DR, that's my PTSD ranting... the whole point is that "You need anger management" is a very common resort for those in power to belittle and, not ironically, "anger" those without power.
You keep pushing people down enough, and eventually they will get angry. I express that anger in posts like this. Never with physical violence like my assailants. But I will always be the "hot tempered Asian" for saying "no" to angry white men who can only speak through violence.
(Other examples include Donald Trump's violent use of military and law enforcement against peaceful protestors while flying off the handle on social media, calling protestors "angry", or angry white men who physically run me off the road with 6,000+ lbs of truck, then accuse me of acting out for crying wtf?)
This has lasting effects, always making me paranoid to speak out on issues I see, knowing that raising my voice in passion or uttering any swear word, or saying a disparaging word against an LEO could put me in defense of the law or some other ridiculous abuse of power. It alao makes it dificult.for me to talk about sensitive topics without over-explaining, as you can see.
Protesting doesn't work when you can't speak. That's the point.
Saying "you need anger management" is all about instilling fear and control. And they've done a number on me.
