Underachieving at the #allotment again this weekend. But squeezed in a bit of good work this evening... better than nothing!
Finished installing the polycarbonate on the non-door end of the new plot greenhouse, with custom higher base boards cut from polycarbonate so I could cut the top edge to fit properly. Worked out a decent solution for the mid-plot greenhouse glazing, using a 22cm high polycarbonate base board and the little greenhouse glass pane "hangers". (I think the greenhouse looks great with the clear base sections replacing the old fibreboard ones.)
Kat got the base well levelled and fully cardboarded to hopefully suppress growth of all the weed seeds in the soil (slight worry about it impeding water to the plants, but can pierce it if need be.) Woodchip path, stainless steel bench in, special nooks for the grapes and fig, laid out the chillies, planted a row of okra.
Also got some edible lupins and padrons planted in the big new bed. It's maybe getting a bit crowded 😅
