Plante vivace rustique de la famille des asteracées, emblématique des prairies fleuries, elle se reconnaît à ses grandes fleurs blanches à cœur jaune, portées sur des tiges dressées, au-dessus d’un feuillage discret. Parfaitement adaptée aux jardins naturels ou champêtres, elle pousse sans effort et attire une multitude d’insectes pollinisateurs comme les abeilles, syrphes et papillons. En herboristerie traditionnelle, ses fleurs sont utilisées pour leurs propriétés légèrement digestives et calmantes, en infusion légère.
