Hier: die Carolabrücke in Dresden im morgendlichen Gegenlicht. Von dieser Brücke ist der Brückenteil, der den Radweg und die Straßenbahn trug, im letzten September mitten in der Nacht überraschend eingestürzt. Wie durch ein Wunder ist niemand zu Schaden gekommen: die letzte Straßenbahn fuhr wenige Minuten vorher drüber.
Der vierspurigen Auto-Brückenteil wurde dann im Januar (wenn ich mich richtig entsinne) aufgrund eines spontanen "Knacks" ebenfalls für zu beschädigt eingestuft. Der Abriss begann letzte Woche.

Mein Beitrag dazu ist der Rolandsbogen, Bruchstück einer Höhenburg, möglicherweise aus dem Jahr 1040.
Der romantisch auf einem Felsen über dem #Rheintal gelegene Bogen wurde zum Wahrzeichen der Rheinromantik im 18. Jahrhundert, und hat eine sehr spannende Geschichte.
