in reply to LabourNet Germany • • •Eines der Ersatzverfahren ist gerade in China am Start. Die Berichterstattung darüber ist spärlich. Aber eins ist klar: wenn es wirklich in großem Maßstab funktioniert, kann man damit Eisen aus Erzen gewinnen, die für den klassischen Hochofen zu wenig Eisen enthalten. Gerade in China gibt es große Vorkommen. Und das Verfahren ist skalierbar. Also in kleinen Anlagen auch umzusetzen. Das spart dann auch noch Transportkosten. Und natürlich Kohle, und damit CO2.
Bei der Zementherstellung ist übrigens tatsächlich eine deutsche Firma technologisch ganz vorne. Aber die haben ein Problem, an Kapital zu kommen. Da wäre Wirtschaftspolitik gefragt.
