In the top left corner, the logo "vpro" is displayed in white, indicating the production company. The main text, "tegenlicht podcast," is prominently placed in the center, with "tegenlicht" on the top line and "podcast" on the bottom line, both in bold black letters on a white background. “senior Israeli sources told me in Feb… terrorist networks are replacing dead #Hamas fighters at a rate of 5:1. At the time, it sounded a realistic appraisal. Now, after 5 more months of destruction, I suspect it will prove to be a dire underestimate.” ☠️ #Gaza #genocide apple.news/AzSjLknWfQgWw0SOIaF…

The image depicts a cartoon-style illustration of a cow. The cow is primarily brown with a white patch on its forehead and a white muzzle. Its body is shown from the back, with a focus on the hindquarters and the head. The cow's head is turned slightly to the side, revealing its eye, ear, and nose. The background is a simple gradient, transitioning from white at the top to a light purple at the bottom, with no additional details or objects present. Many people will continue with a longer, less efficient path to a goal rather than backtrack and take a shortcut — even when backtracking would save time and effort. “Doubling-back aversion” is driven not by mistaken cost estimates but by how people think about their past and future effort. byteseu.com/1210898/ #Science

Indeed that the purpose of the bollards. But they are not the issue here, only the visual consequence of an accident. One of the main issue in my city (beyond that there is too many cars) is the constant mixed entanglement of roads for car, lanes for bikes, lanes for buses and railtracks for tram... All at once on the same segment, without even mentioning the pedestrians. Almost all car drivers would try to force their way, most will succeed at the cost of a honk from the tram... And a few will fail and crash. It just keeps happening on a weekly, sometimes daily, basis. So, against their but for their own sake, I would simply remove any cars where there is a tram or a bike lane. Coexisting with cars seem impossible and they should have their own, very restricted and limited road. But it implies that we give up on this "right" to go and park anywhere by car within major cities, but most people are probably not ready for this.

💯 I would ban cars from cities (but what's about the poor people in the countryside? let's just get rid of them altogether) except for people with mobility problems, forms of public transport, emergency services ( and a few others) but and concentrate on good public transport and other modes of mobility. But I never owned a car and don't plan to so I'm biased ^__^
