Do you suffer #LongCovid or #MEcfs and have Garmin smartwatch? Consider adding an app by Jens Hansen who made 3 things to help with pacing.

I'm using Watchface (for immediate feedback and insight) and Datafield (for activity 'Walking') since several months. Together with Visible app on my phone it has helped me so much getting the hang of pacing and understanding my weird malfunctioning body. 💙

p.s. All free, so consider a gift to help the developers improve these helpfull tools

interesting, thanks! I have been using Visible for a while and it is helpful but I don't have a Garmin (yet?) because I am worried about where my data might end up. Do you have thoughts on that? @longcovid

@cookingroffa I haven't dived into that. I suppose in a garmin cloud. And I read it's exportable. I'm dutch so GDPR should apply.

In this case I prioritise use over privacy concerns. I started at a point I'd exhausted available healthcare options and couldn't get grip on pacing. Via a blog on YouTube I encountered use of smartwatch. Later via a fellow patient pacing app and visible.

I use a lot of socmed under scrutiny to inform myself 🙈

@cookingroffa if you're english or usa (or tech savy for a workaround) you can get the paid version of visible with polar armband. Visible is very transparant about data gathering

Hallo, hier een mede longcovid strijder. Welke Garmin watch gebruik je? Ik doe het nu met een Polar en Invisible app. Miss helpt Garmin en de rest met beter pacen. Alvast bedankt.
