On your recommendation I am expecting the first 3 books of this Culture series today! I can’t wait. I’ve been book less two weeks and it’s a book emergency!
Yes I do try to get books from the author website but these novels date from 30 years ago! I have been so enjoying sci-fi from the authors writing in the 70’s-90’s.
When I really like an author who writes in a series, I tend to read everything from that author. Last time a book emergency hit the spot so well was a recommendation in #Bookstodon. It was for Becky Chambers
I just finished a real slog in Peter F. Hamilton novel/book/brick. That’s enough for that series. Yikes. Sticking with refs in Bookstodon now. Or from people I follow.
