"Israeli forces kill 67 Palestinians seeking aid in northern Gaza, Hamas-run ministry says" - this is what the British Imperial News Service says about the genocide in Gaza.

It's all a "Hamas allegation" even though the Western doctors who volunteer in Gaza, including some Jewish doctors, have testified this wanton slaughter to be a Zionist state policy for the past year and a half.

It is an outrage and an insult to common sense, that should make anyone with dignity and reason feel angry.

I wonder if the propagandists that have to come up with yet another reason why the IDF has "accidentally" killed yet another group of civilians ever get annoyed with having so much work.

In planning my travels around The Netherlands, I noticed a funny glitch on Google Maps near the souther border. It turns out that the town of Baarle-Nassau has 22 "holes" in it, self-contained enclaves belonging to Belgium (in which the town is called Baarle-Hertog). And more deliciously, a couple of them contain "counter-enclaves" that are Dutch again! I'm sure many people have seen this before, but it was new to me. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baarle-N…

What has the WNBA taught me about community building and cultural change?

As a new fan of the WNBA, β€œattending” this year’s All-Star Game was more than just entertainment, it was a lesson in what it actually takes to build something meaningful and transformative over time.

The WNBA has quickly become one of my favorite case studies in slow, intentional, values-driven growth.

I think about this often as I build The Future Is FREE, a vision of a professional and cultural landscape that is equity-centered, community-rooted, and liberation-aligned.

I know I may never fully experience the version of the world I’m fighting for.
I know that what I’m building might serve others more than it will serve me.
And I’m okay with that.

Because real change, transformational change, isn’t about personal reward.
It’s about collective inheritance.

in reply to Kim Crayton ~ Her/She

If we truly want to disrupt the systems that harm us, we have to stop expecting immediate gratification. We have to release the need to personally benefit from the change we say we believe in. And we have to recognize that commitment without conditions is the foundation of legacy.

Apparently, Canadian journalist Dean Blundell got the goods... #letter #trump

This IS exactly as described in the WSJ article, complete with "Donald" being used as pubes. The letter made up a page in a leather-bound book of birthday wishes, collected by Ghislaine Maxwell for #epstein 's 50th birthday, in January 2003... one year before the real estate squabble that caused the friendship to break up.

Well, it's a hundred to one he didn't write this. That's simply not within his capabilities, as I'm sure we can all agree.
in reply to GJ Groothedde πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί

@Eetschrijver that he limited his refutation of the letter to the "I didn't draw anything" and "those aren't my words" could be an admission- what if someone else drew it & someone wrote the words for him but he signed it like any other birthday card?
He still signed onto the sentiment and he was buddy enough to the creep to be included in his bday album.

@unomie
Well, I'm somewhat of an authority having done some pioneering work in forensic linguistics back in the day, and he definitely never had THIS way with words, certainly not written words.

in reply to GJ Groothedde πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί

@Eetschrijver @unomie @Finitum The letter is from a leatherbound book of letters, gathered by G. Maxwell for his 50th birthday. WSJ verified its authenticity w/ several people at the DOJ involved in the investigation, and who could confirm it was part of the evidence they gathered.

In that sense, the veracity of the letter itself as far as its words used on the letter is pretty certain. As to whether Trump had someone write it for him is unknown.

in reply to GJ Groothedde πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Ί

@Eetschrijver you should of course realise that Trump at that time did not suffer from dementia. So you can’t let his current writing inform whether or not he could have written this letter. I for one think it is entirely possible that he has.
