The image is a screenshot from a video game, showing a landscape with a blurred view of a coastline or a hilly area in the background. The foreground is indistinct, with a muted color palette dominated by shades of gray and green, suggesting a foggy or misty environment. On the left side of the image, there is text that reads "CFU Load," indicating a loading screen or a paused state. On the right side, there are two buttons: one labeled "reset" in red, and another with the text "5 I Paid For The Whole CFU." The overall image is horizontally oriented, with a narrow aspect ratio, typical of video game interfaces.

👀 On our radar: Fly with a whooping crane family

“The whooping crane (Grus americana), the tallest bird in North America, has existed near the brink of extinction for decades, with its wild migratory population having dwindled to a single flock of 15 birds in the 1940s. However, following years of dedicated conservation work targeting illegal hunting and habitat loss, the wild population has grown to more than 500 birds.”

Apparently the US is planning to charge visitors to the #US a $250 'visa integrity fee'. It is not clear whether this will apply to visitors from countries like #Canada that so far can enter the #US for tourist #travel without a visa. This is the only information I have seen and look forward to hearing what the actual plan is.

given that they are shutting down disease monitoring and vaccinations this will reduce the number or travellers returning with preventative diseases.

Sympathies to those who want to go to the World Cup or the olympics or to visit family.

Tonight's Low Quality Ad is for OhO Smart Glasses, on sale for 77% off.
They're called smart glasses because Stephen Hawking wore glasses, and he was very smart.

I actually have a pair of these. For the money they're pretty good. Better than the Lenovo ones they replaced which just fell apart after a couple of uses.
I liked that these OhO ones have that wraparound look so the over-size arms housing the tech don't look over-size. if that makes sense.
