Linking to my ko-fi because I might as well promote myself and my ko-fi before the month ends.

Also, two things broke in my house so even if I have back-ups, I should be more conscientious about advertising my ko-fi while I am still on this version of the internet atm.

I had an, "oh yeah, the internet might look 100% different next month."

To make a working link, you should include the https://. Without it, it's just unclickable text.

@eishiya I changed it but I know this sounds weird, but I removed it on purpose but now I added it back. Sorry about that.

Right-wingers in Japan have scored a "victory": The SPRING program for PhD students will no longer cover living expenses for non-Japanese students. Of the program's 10,564 recipients, less than half - 4,125 - were foreign PhD candidates, with 3,151 of those from China.

Unseen Japan

The change will take effect in 2027. The program will still apparently cover research fees.

Only 2.8% of the 336,708 foreign exchange students in Japan get any assistance from the Japanese government.
