this Sunday at 5pm pst I'm going to trepidatiously try to stream our first "movie night..." On our Discord server (which you can join at toplesstopics.org/chat ), I'll share my screen and my camera while we watch a movie together, with commentary throughout, then we can stick around and discuss it afterward. The VOD of the whole stream won't be available to upload and watch later (due to copyright issues) but I'm planning to later do a "recap and review" video of the movie, and may include sections of the livestream in that. This weekend I'm going to watch "Uglies" which is a Netflix movie where society is segregated based on physical attractiveness that's rumored to be pretty terrible, so I thought it would be a fun first attempt. Dealing with audio issues while streaming to Discord has been a problem in the past, but hopefully we can work through it this Sunday. So if you're able to make it, then I'll see you there. 🙂

I perdonally prefer when people grow a conscience, because then they have to live torturing themselves with what they have done and may even work to undo their harm and help others grow a conscience too. But it sadly happens so rarely that you practically never see it outside of fiction and a few documentaries about repentant ex-nazis and stuff like that.
