#Writing status update:

My upcoming novel In Flux is back in the hands of my editor for second pass. She made a lot of good suggestions in the first pass, and I took almost all of them. One story-related detail, I declined to insert because I had a specific reason for not spelling it out.

Speaking of said editor, she has a new editing services site under development, and I'll be adding a link to it from Fenian House as soon as she tells me it's live.

I'd also like to mention that to my considerable happiness, this will be my first novel with cover artwork from a real human author. I am VERY happy with the almost-final artwork so far. You're going to love it. She has perfectly captured both my principal characters, and the exact look-and-feel that I wanted—not to mention a non-human photonic weapon that the late, sadly missed Julian May would quite likely have recognized. Consider its inclusion my tribute to Julian.
