but agreed, I want a car to FULLY function after I REMOVE the screen or e.g accidentally break it, it should be entirely optional.
@anthropy Yes. Break a single control and you lose access to that function. (Annoying.) Break a touchscreen controlling integrated everything and you lose everything controlled through that touchscreen.
I *could* tolerate as a compromise a multi-function display with physical buttons *and* a dedicated "return to start" button, assuming that the button layout is always the same. Not ideal, but at least possible to learn and grope for the sequence to do a particular thing.

“Our country is crumbling before our eyes! We have homeless people dying on the very streets that King Charles passed on his way to the coronation, whilst there are more empty homes than unhoused people in this country.”

Not all has been lost to the rich and powerful; they still make huge mistakes in the pursuit of their own goal. So let's wreck anything they are building up; even the crown jewels shouldn't be safe. Who have they been stolen from? The Cullinan and stuff?
Oh and it's not only 'working people' who carry the burden; there are many who even can't work (disabilities, age), but also deserve an equal share.
