Old good pager era with a 911 urgent call back feature
Today was a long day. I had to travel 90 minutes each way to have the surgical staples removed. (We live in rural Central MA & the doctor is at a Boston hospital).
But it also gave me the chance to get my hair cut. This is as short as I've ever gone - the last really short hair I had was in 1983! But it was the best way to blend it in with the buzz they had done halfway up the back of my head.
It's weird though I kind of like it. And it's only hair - it'll grow back.
