Edit2: thanks, everybody! The votes have been tallied and "cat" holds the super majority. I'll report back if I get more info.

I need an opinion, and I just *knew* Mastodon was the place to come. 😉
But really, #wildlife nerds: someone smol spent the night in the garage, and we'd like to know who.
ETA: The garage was closed, there is a gap between the door and the uneven floor but it's not large. It's "slide a key through for safe-keeping but you'd have real trouble with a wallet" size.
For scale, the side-to-side tracks are squirrel.

The image is a four-panel grid featuring characters with anime-style artwork. Each panel showcases one or two characters with detailed hair and clothing.
The top left panel displays a character with long, dark hair and a red ribbon, wearing a school uniform and looking directly at the viewer. The top right panel shows two characters embracing; one with reddish-brown hair and one with shorter, dark hair. The bottom left panel depicts the same two characters from the top right panel, but with the addition of a character with long, dark hair standing beside them and looking towards the embracing pair. The final panel mirrors the bottom left, again featuring the same two embracing characters alongside the character with long, dark hair observing them.
The text "yuri" appears in white letters on the top left and top right panels, while "yuri looking at yuri" is written on the bottom left and bottom right panels. All characters appear to be in a school uniform.

I remember laser printers being cheaper before Compaq-HP bought Samsung's printer division.
Around 1998, at Fry's Electronics I bought an HP LaserJet 4MP for $800 (and later upgraded the RAM for +$400). It was a workhorse that I used even for production printing.
Years later, 2 Samsung models got on my radar at $400 each: one printed black and could print 2-sided, another was 1-sided color. I bought one of each when their prices dropped to $140.
Around 2011 I bought a nominally portable Samsung laser printer (black, 1-sided) for $50, but got fewer than 800 pages through that one.
In 2019, I recommend a small office purchase components for a Fuji-Xerox VersaLink printer stack from B&H Photo for $3000 and have me assemble it on site. (Instead they chose a much worse option.)
The inexpensive laser printers didn't last, and now I'm starting to look again, possibly for a mid-range multi-function printer.
I don't think I'll ever buy anything again with the HP name on it, as I think Compaq has effectively turned it into a zombie brand, sucking all the perceived value out of it while slapping the name on pure junk.
Some Fuji-Xerox models seem tempting (especially with B&H's prices), though some online reviews seem mixed.
Any suggestions?
