Reminder, if your digital life is stored in a cloud and you don't have a backup that you fully control, then it's very possible to lose all of it, in an instant, and with no recourse.
Do *NOT* trust the cloud. For anything. Always maintain your own backups.

L’ironie est que l’intérêt de ce graphe est de comparer les durées (25 ans contre 1 jour), pas les quantités exactes, et pourtant cette fausse comparaison entre produits semi-finis et matières premières me saute aux yeux.
Starner's problem is simply stated. He has no credibility. His ideas are worthless. His insults are petty. He is supporting a corrupt system of economic management. And he refuses to address these issues.

Yes, you can have unlimited non-discoverable keys on them, but those aren’t username/password replacements, merely password replacements.

The latest version of the Yubikey firmware has bumped the limit up to 100 passkeys. You also can't sync single-device passkeys between Yubikeys either (if that's what you meant). To have backup keys you have to create extra passkeys on every website where you use them. Implementation of passkeys is also inconsistent and often sucks. e.g. this demo of logging into Amazon with one. Yuck.

in reply to Mackaj • • •@mackaj @fuzzyfuzzyfungus The sync issue has more to do with keeping track of all the websites that you have passkeys on, so that you remember to create a backup passkey on your backup yubikey every x days or whatever.
It’s definitely far from ideal, and the main reason I’ve stuck to TOTP in general. Easier to recover from a loss of hardware.

I'm the same. A good password manager (Bitwarden in my case) + 2FA works well for me.
If the passkey experience improves AND passwords are removed as a backup then I might consider it. It's pointless using passkeys when regular passwords are offered as a fallback.
Bad guy: "Sir, your passkey is broken, lets use your password instead".
.. will still catch a lot of people.
