I had a quick chat with @jefklak yesterday evening, which hit pretty close to home. I woke up this morning remembering one technique I heard (or read) somewhere and decided to write down all the roles I could think of that I try to fit in / fill out.
I'm sure the list is far from complete. 🫠

Also, Oliver Sacks. A neurologist who wrote like he swallowed a poet. The movie "Awakenings" is adapted from his book by the same name. Check out "The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat" - each chapter is a case study. He covers etiology and symptoms, of course. Anything but clinical, though; brimming with humanity and compassion.

257 millions d’euros pour un logiciel de la police inefficace, qui nécessite 17 clics de souris pour enregistrer un fichier au format PDF.
Un logiciel qui dès le départ fut pensé non par pour assister les policiers en facilitant la rédaction de PV mais produire de la statistique au service de la communication ministérielle.
Un logiciel qui ne permet toujours pas d’enregistrer le moindre fichier au format PDF si sa taille excède une résolution de 5 mégaoctets, soit la taille d’une photo.
Un logiciel où est intervenu Capgemini pour se gaver d’argent public sans aucun résultat.
Et dans le même temps le même logiciel existe pour la Gendarmerie et fonctionne.
Nous sommes face à un véritable scandale d’état !
