This reminds me of a colleague who always said “factory to you” as a substitute for “see you later “ because he saw it in a newspaper ad. It became a meme between us, long before there were memes. We still say it, 40 years later. We’re the only ones who get it.

@lauriekay9 🤣🤣🤣👍 memes existed before memes... I wonder if we should tell them....

Getting real pissed that each time I do a search on the best "whatever," each item listed has a link to Amazon for purchase. Damn. Why can't they refer me to other sites?

Nanotechnology is a revolutionary force that is fundamentally changing our understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases, rather than simply being a tool. This book explores the innovative methods in which nanotechnology is being developed to seamlessly integrate with the body’s inherent mechanisms. This book offers innovative applications that navigate the bloodstream to eradicate pathogens, selectively target nanoparticles that release medication only when necessary.

This was an excellent article not only on NASA's woes, but on the whole “Man's destiny is to spread among the stars” idea. That is a long, long, long time off, if it ever happens. People are making plans based on science fiction, not science. Meanwhile, the only home we have for the foreseeable future burns because we're too stubborn to change our habits. If we are this willing to ignore science when it doesn't say what we want, we'll never survive in space.
