All of that time was spent in my outline, trying to work out what the heck's going to happen in ch.08, scene 5. It's going to be kind of pivotal. (FWIW, I wrapped up ch.07 a few nights ago. So, go me!) Scenes 1–3 are all in-flight, and I wrote all of scenes 4 and 6 earlier, not knowing where they'd wind up. But now I know.
So, ch.08 is in progress, just... raggedy.
