Gorgeous afternoon of music. Really happy i decided to go. This is the cover of the program booklet (which was free!) with the headliners.
All the singers were a pleasure to listen to though my secret faves were the mezzo and the bass. No idea why, just liked their sound especially.

Yeah I know that, but it wasn't an actual thing, so in the 80's you had goth punks and all those sorts of things, and for sure that was definitely a scene, but it wasn't alternative like operating in it's own right alongside all the mainstream stuff at the same time, in a way they both are the same thing, just it was far more popular despite it being non-mainstream, possibly at times even more popular than mainstream, which is amusing.
