The Germans have a word for "a face that needs to be slapped." It's Backpfeifengesicht. Language should be more like Germany.

in reply to Kit Bashir

I disagree that language should be more like German. Have you seen their sentence structure???
in reply to David

@David @Kit Bashir What I don't like about German is the longwordsmadeupofmanywords thing.

It's a scientific fact that the USA has a lot more people with below room temperature IQ than the rest of the world.

Si queréis cotillear a qué jugamos, comentar qué pensáis de esos juegos en concreto, confirmar que estaremos allí alguna tarde, etc, este es el sitio.

With an introduction from the Imperial War Museum (which puts the novel in a historical context), this timely reprint of a 1945 classic was published for the VE Day anniversary in 2025.

'Three Men in New Suits' brings back a forgotten gem by the author of 'An Inspector Calls'; reflecting on the legacy of the Second World War and questioning civilian relationships with the Veteran community.

A good writer who is now almost forgotten.
Angel Pavement and Bright Day are both really good.

@markhburton I'll have to the check those out but really liking 'Three Men in New Suits'. I've got to admit, An Inspector Calls has been one of my favorite plays for many years ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

First, Wine switches from win32 support to WOW64 emulation. I dont know if it works or not, but after enforcing it, all of my 32-bit prefixes stopped working because it was no longer supported, forcing me to recreate them (I didnt, I reverted back to the last version with win32 support).

Now KDE with Wayland.

When are you people going to understand that forcing stuff on others is only going to make them more frustrated and angry at that thing because its only going to cause problems?

in reply to Q.U.I.N.N.

A lot of these games run on Linux now with barely any problems, if any. And the best part is that you don't even need knowledge to run them, just tell Steam which version of Proton you want to use and you're all set.

The only games that can give issues are games that use some kind of DRM, like anticheats or stuff like that. Which are exactly the kind of games you should be trying to avoid. Some very recent games might also have some issues. Everything else runs fine. And you get all the emulators, as well as old games that might probably run even better on Wine/Proton than they will on Windows 11.

There are programs that might have issues and you might need to use, like Photoshop for instance. That one always gives me problems in Wine. I can understand if people doesn't want to deal with these issues and prefer to stick to Windows because of it (so I did in the past), but games should not be an issue on Linux anymore.

Don't forget that Hitler claimed to be a Christian and as one had a duty to fight for truth and justice. The Bishops are right in stating the far right often co-opts religion and claims to speak for it.
