Nope, yet to start, there was last minute cleaning first.

I write the majority of the cards, I’ve already done the ones for the neighbours, I have a couple of friends & then the ones for family to write.

Pourquoi considérer qu'ils seraient tombés, même en plaisantant ?

'Kymographe' est tombé au champ d'honneur. Le mot et la chose 🤷

@MarCandea @vilain Là ce qui est plus compliqué c'est que les deux sens coexistent dans un mot plutôt rare (de "registre soutenu" diraient mes bouquins) donc on a plus de chance que la situation reste telle, la moitié des locuteurices ignorant un des sens du mot, qu'il soit étymologique ou non...

(moi j'utilise derechef comme à nouveau, et j'ai été très surprise de découvrir l'autre sens, comme pour chafouin (un chat et une fouine, c'est pas "mécontents", si ? bref))

@hist_myth @vilain oui, à vrai dire tout est possible, 1/ statu quo, 2/ tombée en totale désuétude du mot, ou 3/ un des deux sens qui fait oublier l'autre, on peut seulement deviner dans une boule de cristal pas garantie "vrai ou remboursé".

Il suffirait d'une chanson ou un film à très grand succès où un des deux sens est mobilisé pour que ça plie le game. Mais le statu quo reste possible, oui :)
