Watching a random video earlier, person in it said their husband bought them a notebook and pen at Christmas. A few days later they picked up the pen and paused for a moment, they had to think about how to write.
For so many years now, typing has been the norm. On our phones, at a PC, there is no reason to pick up a pen and write now.
I do write now and then, when my MH is bad, I write it all out onto paper. I love tech for easy connection to people, but typing on a phone causes real pain for me, my joints hate it.
Now and then, I ask my son (aged 18) to write something down, and I see his pause as he thinks about how to write.
It got me thinking, how often to people write with pen and paper these days? Is handwriting being lost? Do you have to think about how to use a pen?
(before anyone says, I am aware of disabilities and reasons why people physically can't write and tech is a great thing. My thoughts here are for people that went through school physically writing).
