Why? It seems Belgium got caught violating its own embargo:
Arms sent to Israel have been "in violation of Flanders' self-imposed arms embargo, which dates back to 2009."

Original post: Could you send me a link to the post via dm? I would like to find out how people know this is AI and I'm sure that's already been discussed there.

(these things are apparently pretty good at crowd control teargas, but that can he's holding, isn't teargas, and this whole thing is AI)

You’re right of course, it does potentially endanger people (and it was repeatedly said there as well).
But that wasn’t even my point.
This poster was repeatedly called out on using this picture. And he still didn’t see it fit to edit and include the information that it’s AI-generated in his original post. He kept defending his misleading screenshot which claimed it was a real photo taken some years ago, and he openly admitted he thought it was funny and would therefore attract people better.
That’s clickbait. And he seemed to really enjoy arguing with people who tried to convince him not to spread this lie. That’s trolling.

this.
Plus I didn‘t want to repeat that cheap clickbait effect myself.
Thanks for your feedback, much appreciated!

who specifically do you mean by „you“?
I did explain it’s false, and hid it.
The poster I was referring to *intentionally* didn’t mark it as such. Hence my warning.

Even if the intent was good, i wish people would not fake images outside of trivial fun reasons.
