It’s been a long time since I did a meeting of my characters with those of another author. Today’s (or maybe another day, it’s difficult to say when a #timemachine is involved) Esther and Érié meet @AnnaSaultron ’s #AriaeneJohnsen. Esther & Érié just landed while they were doing a #burlesque show, making the maid a little disoriented

> Them looks fabulous 😍 thank you so much, for visualizing Ariaene.🙏🏿💚

I’m glad you enjoyed it as much as I have to do it! And that it will help you to build your universe 🤘

> Poor Erié, I hope she isn't to frightened. How does Esther feel with that situation?

Erié is indeed frightened — how it could be otherwise — but she trusts Esther to handle it. And for Esther, if this scene is set after the story, she can count on her superpowers … yet to be revealed

in reply to Art of Goulwen R

> Especially Erié could be interesting to them because she looks so similar to some variants of the Somwhar species but not as anyone Ariaene has ever seen.

Let’s hope it wouldn’t be as uncomfortable as her visit to Dr Moreau (that will be in Chapter Three)

> And as always your art is amazing! This latex details and all the fine work on the time machine.

It was interesting to see my art in another context with some futuristic vibes

in reply to Art of Goulwen R

> I guess poor HG Wells won't see his invention to soon again. :D
Well depending on if it is returned eventually the when would be a variable point... Time travel... It never is not complicated.
>Now I'm thinking where & when this encounter could take place if Esther and Erié just arrived.🤔

I appreciate to have an opportunity to add another Victorian universe to Esther and Érié. I don’t think if I could add it in the main story but it will stay somewhere in my head just in case I find a way!

1/2
Ariaene is mostly interested in the time machine and I guess their scanner is somewhere hidden in their outfit, it's more like a tricorder from Star Trek so it shouldn't harm anyone as long the scanned subject/object/anomaly isn't reacting to such scans in a negative way, her short fur might react to the electro magnetic scan giving her probably the equivalent of goosebumps. Maybe some lines like: "You are an interesting person. I sadly don't have time to make your acquaintance. Good bye." While jumping into the time machine.

They would probably ignore Esther because she looks like the average Terran or Human from the Rim, unless her powers would show. In that case it could end up as an attempted kidnapping.

I guess the location could be on Eodin, Mondira's home planet because in that world a burlesque show would be entertaining to most of the so called elite class. Most humans on Eodin claim to be true humans endulging them self with entertainment from Terra's

2/2 past. While living a cyberpunk dystopian life.

It was a great experience throwing ideas back and forth with you and you indeed did a lot for my characterization of Ariaene including finding their first name.

I will absolutely keep this in mind for a possible side story maybe in the SR:SIRAU I mean it's a wonky self insert fanfiction universe parallel to the original of mine so why not including crossover stories for that.

I'm glad I wasn't to much of a nuisances with my requests and you did great in fulfilling them.

Thank you so much.

If you agree to the idea that I put the zoomed in version of AJ as my Avatar picture, I would be incredibly happy and of course I will rework my Bio to give you a shout out.

I also would love to add it somewhere else like discord if you are okay with that? Maybe with your artist signature? So honor is given to who it belongs. :)

I thought I need 3 toots... Probably forgot half the stuff I wanted to answer to.😅

Don’t hesitate if you want to reiterate the experience (although my schedule will be tight as a catsuit in the next weeks/months 🫠)

I appreciate this teamwork as much as you 🙏

I'm the last one to pull out people from their catsuits for no reason.🤪
Okay most people in catsuits I met where very happy in their catsuits so just give me a sign of you need an emergency zip off.

And I will come back to the offer for sure. 🙏🏽💚

I cross my fingers that your schedule has enough room for the joyful moments.🤞🏼

Esther’s source of powers would probably appear to a deep scan… so AJ would certainly want to investigate a little more

Also they may be interested in keeping Esther and Erie to Eodin Mondira, because they would not mismatched in a burlesque show (especially the way of their outfit). Esther is a socialite of the Victorian era, she knows exactly how to behave in such situations, she would convince everyone !

sorry I forgot a comma and the apostrophe s turned into a d.
The planet is Eodin and Mondira is native to that planet she is the Ghoz'Tarcs communication specialist for the Rim and also one of the few members from a Rim world that joined the Union/Alliance.

It might be, that Eodin's people would have interest in keeping them around. If not as entertainment factor, in which they could become some sort of super stars, than for not so nice reasons. After all Eodin is one of the major contributing factions in the Rim to fight of the invading Eltaryn.

They are multicultural with different species that are also in the Union but often more interested in the old ways of their species, capitalism for humans, hunting communities for Somwhar etc. and they all unite in commerce even the military forces are mostly mercenary ones.

And they Export fish-chocolate...

> they all unite in commerce even the military forced are mostly mercenary ones.

By the end of the story, Esther would be someone with extremely lethal powers (at least for some people) Although she will have good reasons not to overuse them. And if Erie is mostly harmless (bc Lady d’Arcy broke this aspect of leonines’ behavior), she can be deadly especially if Esther is in danger

And they Export fish-chocolate...

So they know how to keep Érié happy!

in reply to Art of Goulwen R

well that clearly would put Arieane's abilities to a test at least but since they are not their primary target them would grab the time machine, leaving Esther & Erié on stage. If you remember your modern depiction you did of Esther & Erié, Eodin would be a world where this is easily possible if you want them do live in a cyberpunk dystopia world.

And Erié's restaurant visit might be the reason that this weird natural product exists in the first place. :darthvader:

steampunk is for Victorian era, dieselpunk for the 40’s/50’s and atompunk for the 70’s/80’s era and then cyberpunk is for the future. How should we call current era (that is certainly very punky already without need to change anything)
in reply to Art of Goulwen R

I guess hope punk fits because most people still have hope for a better future despite being already really dystopian.
in reply to Anna Saultron

that is a very positive view and we probably need more people thinking like you !
in reply to Art of Goulwen R

I'm not sure I am that positive I think I share that aspect with Anna from the SR:SIRAU after all whatsa self insert worth of you don't Insert something of yourself.
I mean that one.

rethinking of it, and since eras are called after the primary energy source, I would call our era the mixedpunk: we try to find a mix of renewable energies and a mixed punk seems a really weird idea !
in reply to Art of Goulwen R

well I guess this is true for most the genres other than cyberpunk and hope punk.. or the stupid NASA Punk that isn't really anything (created by Bethesda for Starfield and being incredibly inconsistent)😅

Can't say how I would name it Hybrid Punk maybe? Transition punk?
