Thousands of people in Turin came out into the streets yesterday, after riot police attacked and raided a local community centre, claiming it had been involved in attacks on La Stampa during a recent Palestine protest.

Citizens of all ages decried the move. The Askatasuna Centre had been a local hub for families, youth groups and elderly people to meet and receive support for more than 30 years.

The β€œTogether for Lebanon’s Olives” campaign are planting 10,000 olive trees in an attempt to correct the damage caused by the Zionist ecocide in south Lebanon, where over 65,000 olive trees were looted or burned by the enemy of humanity since al-Aqsa Flood.

The day of action was hosted by a coalition of organisations supported by Lebanon’s Ministry of Environment.

After local government intervened to cancel assemblies and workshops highlighting Palestinian voices at a school in Vicenza, students took unilateral action and reorganised it for themselves.

When a parent complained about student participation in a webinar with Francesca Albanese, students and teachers in Bologna held a sit in and gathered signatures "against censorship and for a free school".
