@mattferrell while I’m being some random sending you stuff… we just drove by a solar farm outside of Yuma Arizona that uses a tech I’ve never heard of. From what I’ve gathered via mostly no internet access is it’s almost like concentrated solar but no tower. maps.app.goo.gl/UTnU6zTDZY8EPy…

@User47 Looks like they're using parabolic trough solar concentrators that super heat an absorber tube right in front of the mirrors. I'm curious how well that plant is working out.
