#NewYorkers! The state legislature has passed landmark #RightToRepair legislation, but Governor Hochul hasn't signed it and it might die. This would be a travesty. If you're in New York, visit eff.org/rtr to help tell the Governor that we can't afford to wait (and tell your friends in New York, too!).

Here are just two of the corporate giveaways hidden in the rushed, must-pass, end-of-year budget bill: Crashing airplanes and starving old people.

Have you written up an explanation of why you post your long threads all with the "public" visibility, rather than the "unlisted" visibility (except for the first one)? It's certainly your choice, but I'm curious about your reasoning. Apologies if you have already posted this, and I just couldn't find it.

What a great piece, thank you @pluralistic.

I'm glad to see you still giving attribution for the “five websites, each consisting of screenshots of text from the other four” quote, to the Twitter post where it appeared. But sadly, Twitter (or at least, what it presents to me?) no longer knows that post exists.

Does the Twitter Archive know of that post, and can we get an updated URL for it?
