Still working on the new song. Messing around with the Korg WaveDrum. Trying to get a different beat vibe going on. Drum track plugin is okay, but want something unique. May do a combo of WaveDrum and plugin. #music #recording #audio #drums #gearsquad

I love music. I have my own leitmotif (internally, I don't go around humming Ride of the Valkyries out loud...as a rule.) Music makes me laugh and I'm one of those people that music makes me cry. I love music, but am incapable of learning how to create it, and thus people who can make music are like wizards to me...there was silence and then there was music? Magic! Which is a long way to say Yay, I can't wait to see what you and your muses created. :)

@elsemusic I picked this one up used quite a few years ago when our local music store sold pre-owned gear. I’ve played it a fair bit, but never recorded anything with it until tonight. It’s got a few hundred presets, but I’ve discovered it’s quite a chore to alter the presets, as the interface is not too user friendly. The buttons and switches are a bit cumbersome, although you can make some good alterations to the presets, like delay, reverb, EQ, drum and rim tuning and panning. You can then save as new presets. I’d rather the presets come fairly dry, and then tweak later in the DAW. Some of the good drum presets have way too much reverb or delay. But for certain genres, it’s a pretty awesome unit.
