Horsetail

One of the beauties of #Iceland is that stunning scenery like this is so easily accessible.

This is Seljalandsfoss in southern Iceland, 60 m/197 ft of pure gorgeousness, situated a short walk from the main ring-road Route 1. There a cave behind it which visitors can enter in summer, but this was taken in March when it was closed.

Part of the Seljalands River that drops from the volcano Eyjafjallajökull.

Was there in February and it was RAMMED with coachtour groups.

None of whom were wearing microspikes. It was like Bambi on ice.

@fembot I went to Iceland 10 years ago in February for my 50th birthday. I’d like to return this summer for my 60th. This time maybe to do a photo tour. Anyone have any recommendations?
