Not the first to cross this frosty bridge this morning.

A slippery (!) pontoon bridge over a lake in Western North Carolina sports a trail of little animal prints, approaching where I'm standing. S(he) must have just gotten across before we reached the bridge. They look quite a lot like tiny human hand prints, in pairs. Not a fan of raccoons in general, but the tracks were the only sign of critters we saw on our walk this mildly cold morning.
A closer photo of a few of the frost-rimed bridge boards, and a couple of the little paw prints. Glad we didn't meet on the bridge.
