As @signalapp says, this would “break encryption as we know it” — and we won’t comply.

Unknown parent • • •@edgeofeurope True, but trade secret law is special... And it might actually not technically impact it. But IANAL, especially not on trade secrets. Interesting take, however!
My fear with this approach though, is that the EU could focus on fixing problems with trade secrets in CC, ignoring the real issue. It might just be a distraction from the real problem.
