My XFce Win11-like theme under Linux #Mint. The theme has a couple of bugs, but overall it works well.

I found that XFce is the most themeable of the DEs, however it has started showing its age. For example, no connection of open apps to their launcher (they open a second icon), no "live" thumbnail of an open app, etc.

There is the `xfce4-docklike-plugin`, although I confess I've never used it. I believe it comes with MX by default, but not sure where else it exists.

@mp362 I found a .deb file by a third party, for an older build of ubuntu/xfce, hopefully it works though.

Xfce has a severe lack of manpower, and like all non-GNOME Gtk desktops, has to deal with GNOME sucking all the air out of the Gtk room.

@IzzyChambers Cinnamon is much more mature as a DE than XFce. It is better put together and it has more options to get you going. The only place xfce has lots of options is in its window management, which tells you that its mindset is mostly as a wm+. XFce's touchpad options leave a lot to be desired for example (no way to have virtual buttons, or disabled tap n drag in the gui). No users app. No desklets/extensions, etc. However, it is the most themeable because its panel is configurable.
