Thank you Heidi for the reminder that today is about commitment to the fight for freedom. Today we the people commemorate not a permanent state of independence achieved, but the pledge to dedicate ourselves to the struggle for liberty and justice for all. Seeing today as a new beginning does add a "celebratory dimension to the Fourth of July of 2025."
